i have a cable modem connected to the host pc which has 2 nic cards and o/s ME, which is networked to client pc via 10mg hub on o/s ME. i'm using winroute lite 4.1, they find each other no probs but the client will not connect to the internet, i also tried ics but same results, please help.
also in winipcfg the "ip router enabled" box is checked, should it be ??

Why do you need Winroute? Just use Me ICS.

If you have firewall software on the host PC, you will have problems. You must configure any firewall to allow the IP of the client PC.

I'm still teaching myself about winroute, but I recall that you have to uninstall ics first. And if you had that installed, then you also have to uninstall tcp/ip. Then reinstall tcp/ip. Yeah, weird, isn't it.

Winroute. Excellent software router/firewall.
