I have a home network (2 five port hubs, 4 pcs) and have just connected to cable internet, via Adelphia.
How do i connect the cable modem to the hub so i can have internet access for all pcs with out setting one up as a server?

You'll need a Cable/DSL Router right after the modem. If the modem is USB, you're sunk and must have a host PC.

Linksys, Netgear, SMC, 3Com, and Intel make the most popular routers. I like the Linksys for price/features and support.

They also have 1-port and 8-port routers, but the the 1-port is not much cheaper and you don't need the 8-port.

Have fun shopping!
