MY Sony CD-RW cannot recognise any blank CD, please help !

Hi to all,

I got a second clone PC from a second computer shop with a Sony CD-RW writer CRX 140E installed on it. This PC is installed with Windows 2000 Professional.

My question is: I have no idea why this Cd burner cannot recoagnize any blank CD if I use any CD burning software except Sony Extreme 3.0 recording software. (Even Easy Cd Creator 4.02 (285) does not recognize any blank CD)

I know how you feel, I cant even get my cd extreme to work. But nero is a lot better, that is what I am using and it is so easy.
