I'm donating my PC to my daughter-in-law who lives in San Jose, CA (area code 408). I live a couple hundred miles away, and thought I'd deliver it, set it up and get it connected using a local ISP.
I have access to more information than I need at http://www.thelist.com but I'm looking for someone with experience using an ISP in that area. Is there someone who can offer some advice?

What kind of connection is she planning on using? Dial-up, DSL, cable, other?

Another good site for broadband considerations is www.dslreports.com (http://www.dslreports.com)

Sorry socalgal,

I need dialup service. The unit has a 56K .v90 modem.
