Hi, I am a networking student about to graduate and preparing for MCSE exams. I want to setup dual boot for practices and to study for exams. I have a 10.2G hard drive and a 2.2G HD a a slave. I am running Windows 98 and had to go FAT32 to get the full capacity of the 10.2G HD. My question is will I have to reformat and go back to FAT16 and partitions to setup dual boot, for running WinNT or any other OS from the slave drive.

You do have to have a Fat16 boot partition. The best way I have found to do this is to use a 3rd party software such as Powerquest's Partition Magic 4.0. It will allow you to create new partitions on your current 10 gig harddrive and then convert the Newly created 2.1 gig fat32 partition to fat16 withOUT having to fdisk and reinstall windows...
Good Luck on your tests!
