HOWEVER, since you've never done this before, I'd highly recommend reading up on overclocking before doing anything. OC'ing is a great way to fry a cpu and do damage to your system. Here's a good link that will explain the basics. It's for Socket A processors, but it discusses the basics of overclocking. http://www.merc100.com/socketa-ocpg2.htm Also, if you go to www.overclockers.com, they have some good tips on checking for stability. I would suggest that you overclock some and save up enough dough to buy a really nice rig and then you won't have to play any silly little games. (haha look at me talking with my little P3 450 Katmai!!!!:D ) I don't think that your gonna be able to o'c with that gateway mobo because I can't with my gateway mobo. SysOpt.com
