Check out the articles on Anandtech and TomsHardware for a detailed preview of the chip

Oooh, looks interesting. I don't know if the ability to program in higher level languages will show us any immediate benefit, but it sure has some very interesting features. Pity it's not out soon.

It's interesting that's it's using a version of TBR(Tile Based Rendering) from the KYROII. Go TBR!

It isn't using that method of tile base rendering dawgtuff. read the title of this page

http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.html?i=1614&p=6

Then read the rest of the page.

This is in bold on the page "The tile processor does split up the rendering of the scene into tiles but that does not make the P10 a deferred rendering architecture."

I like them but they have been in the wings for a long time with nothing really to peak my interest....
Now I heard they want to integrate there chips into boards and save the gamer from buying and AGP card that costs $$...

Will this sell? Sure..but how much for a chip on Mobo with Ram ??

Will they make new cards to compete with Nvidia & ATI .... Ya I think they should give it a shot... I wish them luck..

Slipknot- I said a "version" of TBR. Not full TBR processing.
