I would say defrag with VMM turned off, then setup a static 200 MB swap file and reboot.

If you have say 192Mb of RAM or more, you can use a switch in the 386enh section of system.ini that will prioritize RAM over swap file use:
ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1 (http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=27&threadid=307185)

Warthgo? Methinks you really DO need more memory. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Thanks, wyvrn.

That will come in handy when I finally get my memory (starting to worry...ordered it on X-Mas day and still not here!).
