Every detinator drivers after the 27.40 drivers won't work with on my system. I have tried the 28.32, 28.90, and 29.11 drivers but non of them work that well on my system. Could I have a compatibility issue with someelse installed on my computer? Is there some software programs that won't run with these drivers?
Thanks,

WHQL 28.32 had a problem identifying exact vendor until few days ago, try those nVIDIA has now, they are already revision 3  and should work well.
The rest are leaked betas, sometimes .inf file doesn't contain required field for every nVIDIA card out there or the package is not full ... I guess that's why they called "betas" :)

I tried the new 28,32 drivers but still no luck. I think its has something to do with another hardware device I have install on my computer. Because I had a nother geforce 2 ti 450 in here and it didn't work with the newer drivers. I can get about 10 sec into 3dmark 2001 until it goes back to the desktop. Its not OCed either.
Do you thnk it could be the motherbaod? IWILL KK266+
Try using Detonator Destroyer (http://www.guru3d.com/files/pafiledb.php?action=download&id=202).
Not aware of any specific problems with your mobo.

That program didn't work. I started it up and hit unistall, then it came up with an error saying can't delete some .dll file. It had 2 other det driver .dll files in the list but when I hit the restart button it kept saying this program failed to terminate. Does this program not run on WinXP?

Try upgrading your Mother Board Bios, I just got a Geforce 4 TI 4400 and had problems as soon as I installed it. I look up my
latest MB bios I found I was 4 updates behind and the newest one was a fix for Geforce 4 Cards!!! Weeee!!. Once I upgraded it fixed the
major problems. I still have some minor gitches but at least I can play games now.
Good Luck!

Sorry it took me so long.
Ok I installed the 4 in 1 drivers for my mobo and installed the drivers for my sound card because it was going crazy. THen I installed the 28.32 drivers and then install norton 2002. I ran 3dmark but it still only got to about 20 seconds and then it went back to the desktop. I know it has to do with something installed in my computer because I just reformatted it and didn't have any old drivers on it.
The only thing that is sharing the same irq number as the vid card is my sound card. But you said that XP would take care of it.
Any suggestions?

Nvidia says the Geforce cant share irq 11 at all. So I would put the soundcard on a dif. IRQ. Dont trust XP to do it, I hear that is one of the things that XP doesnt do aswell as it is said to.

I've tried moving it around and i've tried changing it in bios but it still stays with the vid card. Is there a certain slot the sound card should be in?

I'm not sure about layout of your mobo (do you have o/b RAID with this one ?) ... try PCI slots #3 or #5 (or any other slots which do the trick ;) ).
Good luck :)
