i should have the memory and hdd by next monday! cand wait for the performance increase! I Only used elcheapo Pc100 64MB of ram and 5400 RPM hard-drives I never seen the number 128MB of Memory. and I never will http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif hehe. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

what increase of Performance should i get by adding more and faster Memory and a Bigger and faster Hdd? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

yeah I will heep my dremal away from my new hdd also Im gonna start crinching soon im not dsone with my pc and i will constantly working on my new drive so anythin g i have on this drive im useing now will be gone. forever...

I just gotta back up stuff of course. when i get settled in il start cracking again!

I recently received my Mushkin Hi-Perf Rev2 PC133 and switched to 133fsb on my old BX6-2, PIII-450 and she hit 600 (133fsb) without a hiccup http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif I couldn't get over 117fsb before.

Got a couple of Deskstar 75GXPs too, ATA-100s on the Promise controller. After some hassle with setting that up, the performance is NOTICEABLY faster. And very quiet.

I just got My 256MB of Memory!!! I pluged it in and it worked like a charm!!! I notice a increase of speed. and started to play half-Life multiplayer I put tripmines all over the place when ever i blew them up the game crashed(this was when i had 64MB of ram) now i cant make the game crash no matter what i do. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif also Mushkin sent me some mints! in a metal box that says Mushkin on it! and website and phone number! also the bag it came in is reusable! I put my old dimm in my dads computer.

now im waiting for the hard-drive

also I got that system cracking RC5 it seems slow tho.. it may be my imagination. i will make a dump on saterday.
