Hi all, :D

I need a bit of help. I have a new Win2000 Server setup with DHCP enabled with a static IP assigned to it. When I installed Win2000 Server, I also setup our web domain name as the domain for the server (this shouldn't matter, right?). I also have a Linksys router with DHCP disabled (due to Win2000 Server DHCP being enabled)

Now, my internal network works great. I can share & see everyone on my network. I can also surf the web with no problem. The only thing is due to the server having DHCP enabled, if it goes down, no one can surf. This is normal, I know.

**The problem is I can not view my own web address/domain name. As soon as I type www.mydomianname.com I get "The page cannot be displayed". If I go home or go to any pc outsidemy Lan, I can pull it up. But any client within my network can't do it. Why is this?

Is it because I used our web domain name as the domain name for the server when I setup it up? I thought this would be perfered.

Is it the router? Should I disable DHCP from the server and re-enable it back to Linksys router and assign static IP's?

Thanks for the help, everyone has been great here! ;)

I tried updating my firmware to the lates (Mar/02) and still having the same problem.

I also tried to ping my domain name and it pinged my Win2000 server and came back with it's dynamic IP? It should of came back with my WAN IP where my web page resides, right? I have something set wrong on my Server. What the h#ll is it?

Thanks again! :D
