When downloading pages from internet recently using IE6, Netscape 4.7 or 6.0, I get continuous 'Runtime error' dialogue boxes describing Line numbers, and Errors - such as 'Syntax error', 'Object expected', 'ad_string' is undefined etc. I must select Yes or No to 'Do you want to debug' before the download will continue. Very, Very Frustrating.

A colleague suggested it was a javascript error.

I am at a total loss. Is this a problem with my machine, an ISP problem or what?

System. Dell Dimension. 600Mhz P3. W98SE

Help!

There is an error in the web page itself, caused by poor coding.

In IE you can disable script debugging in Tools/Options.

Thanks. I checked the Disable script debugging box in Tools/Options/Advanced and guess what? The problem appears to be solved If only all life was so easily solved!
