"winword.exe is not a valid win32 application"

Every time I try to run msword I get the error "winword.exe is not a valid win32 application" does anyone know what caused this and how to fix.

Your file probably f******* up due to some HD failure, run Scandisk to check if everything is OK, then reinstall MS-Word.
