How can I tell if I am able to ubgrade my cache and how much I have? drn 01-03-2001, 09:08 PM You have 512 onboard L2cache and it is not upgradeable at all you can add up tp384 megs of ram check your mail i sent you d page with the jumper setting on it it has setting up to 133 fsb and 5.5 multipler all the setting are there i cant find the voltage setting but if i do i will let you now [This message has been edited by drn (edited 01-03-2001).] Savant 01-03-2001, 09:19 PM Cache is pretty much a non-upgradable item, the chip has what it has, or (in the case of pentium MMX's and older, and the K-6 series) the motherboard has it built in, either way theres not ussually any way to upgrade it. (on some old systems (I have seen this only on a 486 mobo) you can upgrade the cache by adding more chips) I'll look up the specific system in a moment and see what it is. Sorry DRN, didn't see your post, guess mine is pointless now [This message has been edited by Savant (edited 01-03-2001).] SysOpt.com
