Hi guys!

Here comes a little 'strange' question from me. :)
Are anyone of you good in writing lyrics?

I'm playing in a 1980 stylish rock'n'roll / metal band
that have existed for almost 5 months now.
We are making all our music and lyrics ourselves,
and things begins to 'groove' :)
When I'm writing this we have like 10-12 finished
songs and we are making new ones almost every
week, and since I'm writing the lyrics its kind of hard
to keep up with the guitarplayer that makes the
chords. Thats why I turn to you, the smart, intelligent,
creative people of Sysopt.com. Can you help me?

I would really like lyrics that I can use / turn around /
rewrite to fit with the music, and if our playing
turns into an album the co-writer would get credit
on the playlist. (and a copy of the album).

Dont give me lyrics that you have made that already
exists (like you have played it with a tune, or similar).
It doesnt need to be complete either. Just a few words,
or a couple of sentences to give a 'spark' to my brain.

No 'bad language' lyrics btw. We are a little to old to
roam around singing about the last chick we met in
the bar downtown.... :)

Well, just a little request from me.
Anybody?

Best regards.
Gobi.

Hi there Sunn!

Well, to give a little info about the band I can start with
the people, and try to define the music we play (thats no
easy task).

Guitarplayer :
Our gitarplayer have been playing for almost 20 years, and rumors says that he once was extremly good.
(I have only known him for the last couple of years). He's a good
techical and rythmical guitarplayer, and its him that write / make
the sound for the songs. He's 32 years old. (still a youth in his
mind :) ).

Bass :
Our bassplayer is an old friend of the guitarplayer,
and they have known eachother like forever or something.
He's quite good, and plays a five strings bass with no plecter.
(plucking with his fingers). He has just turned 30 years old.

Drums :
Our drummer is a woman. She's the least experienced of us four, and has only played the drums for a year and a half. She's getting better and better for each practice, and learning new tricks every day. She's 29 years old.

vocal : I'm the singer in the band. Got a 'twisted' voice
that can maybe be compared to something like a mix between
Brian Johnson and Lemmy. (for those of you who doesnt know
who those are, its the singers in AC/DC and Motorhead).
I also can sing with a flat voice, and we have a couple of
tunes thats really slow. I'm btw 28 years old, and the youngest
one in the band. :) (Damnd, start to feel like a kiddie here.. :) ).

What kind of music :
This is the hard part to explain. We have said that we are a
80's Rock / Metal band with a attitude (yes, I know that sounds
a bit 'coocky' :) But its not ment that way). Its kind of 'fast forward'
4/4 type of rythm. (You know, verse, ref, verse, ref, solo, verse, ref, finish type of songs. :) ).
When it comes to the lyrics I have some veery deep poetic
lines that is about the life on earth, life between the walls in the
head, and stuff like that, but most of the lyrics for this band
is fast and easy. No deeper meaning, just party On!
(We have a image of the people in front of us on concerts, and
they are jumping. up and down and up and down...you know?

Well, hope that could give you a little clue, cause I'm not sure
what I have written here now. :)

Later.
Gobi.

PS. Thanks to Cavalier Ed for the first contribution.
(Got a good lyric from him by PM).
