I use it like internet gateway
It has two networks adapters installed - one for local network and the other for internet conncetion. Both seems to be installed corectly. I have ping reply to every computer from LAN, and every pc from LAN has ping to my server. Also every pc has access to internet, and every pc can browse shared drives on my server.
BUT the server cannot browse my local network?!?!?! even manualy from server (wtriting for example \\shop\c) I cannot see shared resources on any pc in my LAN.

You don't mention the Windows versions on the other PCs. That's pretty important.

WinXP, by default, uses the MSHOME workgroup name. You may have WORKGROUP as the workgroup name elsewhere. Also check the subnet masks for uniformity over the LAN.

Are you running a firewall on the other PCs? Are you using McAfee VirusScan on them?

Try the UNC address to connect to a PC. If one of the other PCs is named "Fido", type \\FIDO in a Run dialog and click OK.

yes i did forget to mention that the other PCs from the network are using Win98se or Win ME. On some of them there is installed norton antivirus. I have changed the subnet mask to "Pulsar" (this is the name of our company). Subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 on all PCs.

Don't forget that all PCs need unique names. If they're all PULSAR, that's your trouble.
