TD,

Why no 80mm fan on the bottom of the case if you were trying to get better circulation inside the case?? Just wondering?

Looks great nice and neat. But ohh those empty fan bays lower front (intake?) and the spot on the back upper middle (exaust?). Gotta love them fans! WWWHHHRRRIIIIIIRRRR

Nice work!

What is the drive in the top bay? Is it a removable HDD?

engracio, I have got plans for getting some fans soon. I`ve tried locating them at local computer stores here, but none seem to have them. I`ll probably have to order them from online or something.

I only did the cable rounding last night, and when I was done, the circulation was better, but it still looked a bit messy. About 1am this morning, it was bugging me knowing nit was still a bit untidy, so I opened up the case, and rearranged the cables a bit. Now, all the cables in the case kinda run down one big colomn in the middle (between the mobo and the drives). Then, the power and drive cables span off from that. It`s hard to explain, so I`ll get another pic tonight.

I`ll be getting a Fancard-II this week too. I have a spare ISA slot at the bottom of the mobo. That`s got 2 fans on it to cool the cards. I got a fan off of a spare PIII heatsink. I might mount that on the heatsink on the Voodoo 3, it`s about the right size.

And finally, mudoggy, yes, it is a removable hd cradle. I`ve only got a small 3gb drive in there, but I also put a cradle in my computer at work. It`s so easy to move 3gb of data round now.

Speaking of work, better actually do some today huh? Good job it`s a family business or my *** would be grass!

Ok, as promised, here is the new pic of the inside of my case. It`s a bit neater, and the air can flow more freely!

what did you use to cover the wires is it just tape or is it some kind of tubing

It`s just PVC tape. I found it works pretty well! The only real problem is that if you have cables that are too long, they can be a little stiff when you try and move them about.

I used cable/zip ties to keep everything in place, and it`s pretty solid now. No chance of those cables coming loose through vibration.

IDE cables are the worst to work on!
