I found this free utility on CNET that monitors system hardware in Windows environment. I had been looking for one that would work with SIS chipset, and this one does, as it also will with others. Developer just wants your feedback. There is also a non-restrictive request for a donation. It is more adaptable to my non-Windows-registry-familiar mindset than other one I tried. It has ability to monitor up to three fan speeds and three system and CPU temps. You just uncheck the fan(s) that are not RPM monitored; otherwise you will get erroneous reading on that parameter. I did not realize that I still had one connection that was not being monitored until I installed this program. It also monitors voltages and realtime CPU usage. This beats having to reboot to BIOS when you want to see what the latest app is doing to your computer parameters. It is also suppose to be able to control fan speeds, but I have not figured out that one yet. The system temp is displayed in the taskbar, and mouse-over displays the others. This utility has the highest rating I have seen at 91% approval.
