Instead of that stupid Energy star logo, I'd like to have a pimped out G-ride show up when I start my computer.

Anyone done this and lived to tell about it? I'm a little edgy...

That's pretty slick there! But the BIOS is one thing I don't like to screw around with for cosmetic purposes.

Hmmmmmm, actually, I like that little energy star! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Having trashed a few MB's just doing a
routine bios upgrade...I wouldn't touch
that with my Brother-In-Law's $%@#...
Just not worth the risk.

Here are two SysOpt threads that address and possibly answer your quest.

I tried it and failed http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif I ruined my M598LMR mobo tho http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif I probally didnt do something right. too tell you the truth i dont care abour a little boise logo saying "voogru' or something on it the good thing is if you put your name and address on it and someones steals your computer whenever they boot up they will see your name and address and if someones using the computer at the time and they have to reboot. they will see it and then think it may be stolen. unless the crook would be smart enogh too put it back to the way it was.

I did it to an old 486 board that dies of natural causes a few months later, the only thing is makeing a logo that fits the paramiters and color issues, I used a big red anarchy sign.
