What type of connector does the monitor have? If it looks the same as a normal monitor, you're all set. You nVidia card will work just fine for it. If the connector is wider and has a LOT more pins, you need a card that supports a digital display. I doubt you would have this, though, so you should be just fine as you are now.

Looks like a proprietary connector. That display is going to be useless unless you find the mating graphics card for it.

Peter Missel is most likely right, although I'm not sure about finding a graphics card for it. When I looked at that picture, it reminded me of a specialized connector. Perhaps for a POS system with a touch screen? (A cash register).
Did the monitor come new or used? Do you have any documentation?

After thinking about it for a minute, I have an answer for you:
That connector is for the OLD LCD monitors. These are 'dual scan' displays, which are inherent to much ghosting and washed out colors because it is the older style of LCD monitor. If you've ever seen an older laptop that has a washed out screen, unable to read it unless you are directly in front of it, this is the old dual-scan method. Today's LCD monitors use a technology called 'TFT'. These monitors are much brighter, can be seen from a much wider angle and distance, plus display fast moving games much better without smearing the image across the screen.
If you look at the monitor you have, you SHOULD note that it has no power cord, right? That is because it is powered right from a special graphics card. The card that you have to use is ISA, and won't work with many of today's computers. Your computer most likely does not have a ISA bus unless it is more than just a few years old. Plus, I got this information off of KeyCorp's website:
Notes regarding the drivers on the K55 and K56
The K55 is an obselete product. Please note that Keycorp does not write drivers, but redistributes drivers from Asiliant, formerly Chips&Technologies.
The graphics controller IC (65545) used in the K55 is not supported by Asiliant for the newer operating systems, such as Win95, Win98 or NT4. That means Asiliant have not issued the 65545 drivers for those operating systems.
To check for drivers for other operating systems, please go to Asiliant (http://www.asiliant.com/). Look for the 65545 graphics controller IC for the K55.
There are K55 drivers available for Win3.1x to be able to display up to 64K colours. K55 will be able to display 640 x 480 x 16 colours (just choose Standard VGA driver — see below for the procedure) for ANY operating system.
On some PC platforms, 256 colours may be available with Win98SE, using the Standard SVGA driver (not the driver from C&T, but the one that comes with Windows). This is not guaranteed however.

Here is a ROUGH side-by-side shot of what the LCD monitor will probably look like (LCD on the right, SVGA on the left):
