I've updated my A7V133 (pcb build 1.04) to the 1008a bios in preparation for upgrading to an XP processor... still waiting for prices to drop as the 0.13micron cpu comes out. Still running my T-Bird.

Have not encountered any bios-related issues at all.

I have not upgraded the bios yet.I am waiting to make up my mind to buy a new mobo w/ddr or wait for the next cpu from amd.

natas...
My situation (wife, actually) dictates that I do my next U/G a piece at a time. I figure the pcu can come first, since my current mobo should be okay... I'll do the other U/G's as my "slush fund" permits. I'm happy with most of my components (case, cooler(s), PS, DVD-ROM, CD-RW, HDs, speakers) I just need a faster CPU, probably a 333-based mobo, 768mb DDR ram, and the latest and greatest nVidia graphics card to go with it all...
