Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Are there any CD burners that are able lasa168 12-26-2000, 11:28 PM to burn copy protected cd's? brandon184 12-27-2000, 12:57 AM I would guess that any copy protected CD would not be owned by you and would most likely be copyrighted by another party. Thus, duplicating it would be illegal. Correct me if my assumptions are wrong, but we don't do that sort of thing here. Even then, I don't believe there is a burner that does that sort of thing. - Brandon [This message has been edited by brandon184 (edited 12-27-2000).] otheos 12-27-2000, 03:25 AM it's not the burner that matters but the reader. The reader will have to read/bypass the copy protection. There are sites that offer advise on software hardware for legally backing up your copy protected cdroms, but before I start giving away links, I'd ask you to look around yourself untill someone at sysopt approves.
