Does the 128Mb version of the G3Ti200 offer a noticeable difference?
My scores with teh 64Mb version are about 6700 overclocked to 220/450 on a 1.4Ghz that is oc to 1533Mhz.

No, you will not ever be able to break the 8000 mark with the Gforce 2 Ti 200..... Perhaps with a CPU several generations from those currently available but not with todays product (IMHO). I tried and failed with an AMD 2000XP (not o/c)

I don't think a dual processor will work. I've read reviews and benchmarks where the dual processor is actually a little slow than a single processor.

A dually is slower at gameing. It cant share the load with the other cpu.:( Nope for games dually's are a waiste of cash. By the way a newer generation faster cpu isnt gonna make your points that awfull much higher. I mean we are all above 1500mhz here it seems. At that point its gonna be the video card thats the determining factor. Now a Ti500 O'clocked I bet does really well!:D

I suppose dually's are better for apps and rendering then pushing polygons.
...my 3DMark scores did go up as I increased the fsb. and with the same card speed (220/500).

Yes that exactly right. They are more for rendering/serving and such. Now the reason you got higher scores just suports what I said. When you raise the fsb you o'clock the agp bus from its stock 66mhz. And the video card o'clock speaks for itself.:)

Nice score RobUK. You got a modest bump in score from your previous system config since the only thing you've really changed is to a faster processor and a bigger memory bandwidth (kt333 mobo). I've been thinking about making the jump from kt133 to kt333 and was looking at the MSI KT3 Ultra ARU board. How do you like it? The reviews I've read make it look like a decent-good overclocking board with some very nice added features.
Anyway, I'd think you'd get another bump in 3dMark if you go with the latest official, Nvidia drivers (here (http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=windows2000)). These drivers helped out my score using a GeForce3 Ti200 on a Duron system. Give'em a shot.
I'm not sure if you'd be able to hit 10k marks though with a GeForce3 Ti200. You might get close if you're going to overclock your system.
Cheers!

Here is one from an old Athlon 1ghz @1.33ghz (I know it says 1343, but do the FSBxMultiplier and it's 1.33) This is about 7 months old now. I haven't been into this for a while anymore. Did have the number one spot for about 2 months.
