:confused: I re-installed a Driver for my CD-Disc player and now when I switch on the system hangs after "Highmem is testing extended memory..............done" I have Windows 3.1 installed and I think the DOS version is 3/4?- Help please!

Fogey, you might want to upgrade your version of DOS to 6.22 and re-install Win3.1 or upgrade to Win95a it should work on your system although it would be slow make, sure that you have at least 8Mb of MEM, for win95 to work. Be sure to backup all your data before you start, you might want to check at www.bootdisk.com for more help. Win95 should work better with your CD-ROM. Good Luck:)
