I have some movies that I want to split into 2 files so they can fit onto a CD-RW or CD-R. The movies are bigger than 700mb and I don't have that much hard drive space(16gig with 5 gig free) Is there a program that will cut the movie in half and so I can put it on two cds?
Thanks,

Hi,
If you just want split in pieces put on 2 CDs and then in order to watch movie combine files again in one on HD then it is rather easy. Actually as far as I remember there were even DOS commands to do so. But to make life easier I would use for example file manager Windows Commander (it has such option). You can get it here:

I am sure there are other ways but this would be my choice...
If you want to make 2 DCs, so you can play first and then plug in second to continue, then I do not know how to do it...

If your movies are in DivX format, you can use VirtualDub to split them into two equal size movies.
