ok Question is Basically my problem with INCD.. i have never gotten it to run properly...no version ...... ormaybe i don't know how to use it
ok .....
first part ...
is in Cd the same as Direct CD (not the same software.. or compatible I mean does it work the same ) i,e i format a cd... then i can add stuff to it any time I want till its full . or something like that ....(anytime i want includes twoo weeks after the format)
because ..... when i format Cd

after format it shows like something like a few hundred Kbs and no freee space (where as in direct Cd it shows free space.. right)
and its not just something specific to this computer.. i have always had this problem. so I'm thinking I must be doing something wrong......

well like i said ..... its not just oin this computer .. so my computer configurations isn't really important neither the version....
(but i ve tried it always in WIn2K i guess ) so that might be something .

From what I've read, Direct CD is the best packet writing program. It's what gets me to keep using Easy CD Creator.

It does work as you described. I use CD R media for Direct CD. I don't close the disk and make sure I inscribe that it is a Direct CD disk.

CD RW media takes too long to format and reformat. I use CD RW disks to back data in mastering (ISO) disks. They erase fairly quickly.

I've heard that Nero is a better mastering program than Easy CD and that the two don't like to co-exist in the same computer.

You can have both of them on the same computer. Just make sure you go into msconfig and turn them both off from loading at start up.
I have both on my 98 drive with no problems. Ex-CD creater is easyer to use. Nero on my computer is a better program for coasters.

You can stiil use Nero as your recording software and Direct CD, wich is the best packet-writting utility.
Just Install NERO without InCD. Then install Direct CD...
It works!!!
