Can someone please tell me if there is a way to set "icons" as the default view for a folders contents when SAVING a file into it? For example, I use icons as the way I want all of my folders to be displayed as it's easier to manage for me. However when I am saving lots of pics I had scanned in with Adobe photoshop, I choose "save as" and then it opens my various picture folders with a thumbnail view. I then have to manually switch the view each time so it's easier to find the folder I am looking for. It would be much more convenient if I could set the default display to icons rather than thumbnail when I am saving a file in Adobe. I hope there is someone who can tell me how to do that! Thanks in advance.

Although I'm in ME right now, I think that this applies to you as well. A picture is worth a thousand words. See attachment.

That was a cool print screen bipolar! That works for my regular folder views, but for some reason, it doesn't extend to the "save as" windows. I'll post an example:

A picture IS worth a thousand words, I should've posted a pic before to illustrate!

See the way the Thumbnail radio button is greyed out? That means it's selected by default for JPGs. I can't find a thing for a specific Windows issue on this. Write Adobe or check your preferences in Photoshop and look in Folder Options.
