How to overlock P166 to P233...help! [Archive]

have you tried to up the voltage......
1ST!
try to raise the multiplier 1 step up of rating.... if it works at rated voltage great..... next try it again.....if it dosent work default set settings back to standard.... then start to up the front side bus (FSB) from 66mhz to 75mhz....
if it boots great if it dosent... give it one tenth of a volt more...then try it out....

keep seeing how far you can go with multiplyers first so you can go back to those on default fsb ......if the fsb switching dosent work.....
i think the 75mhz fsb is about max for the pentium though......... 8mhz3 brings the pci bus up to 44+- mhz....
so just try it in steps to see what works and whats the fastest...
