Sorry to shout but I have having a nightmare. I have formatted my hard drive and installed Win98SE. Problem is that every time I try and start a game, the system reboots !!

Can anybody help me please - the games are for the kids and I am getting serious grief

Is this a DOS game we're talking about? What is the name of the game?

Older games sometimes must "Shut down to DOS" to work properly. Some of those games have upgrades available to allow them to be played in Windows.
