Me thinks me beat that P3 1gig all around! So much for everyone saying that a P4 1500mhz is = to a 1000mhz P3! Ha I laugh, read the #'s folks!

Well, I finally got around to running PCMark2002 on my Pentium III. Judging by the scores, my PIII might be feeling a little inadequate these days with all these 2GHz machines running around loose. In anycase, my 2nd rig:

Windows 2000/Win98SE dualboot
Intel Pentium III-500@575MHz
ASUS P-3BF 440BX mobo (Award Bios v.1006)
640 MB Kingston PC133 SDRAM
x2 WD 8GB 7200rpm drives
Leadtek GeForce3 Ti200 oc'ed to 230/530

CPU -> 1532

Mem -> 1247

HDD -> 377

Thanks grimfandango. :) My PIII-500@575 has served me well for the past three years. I still play many of my games on this machine except for Morrowind. It runs like a charm. I recently finished Serious Sam 2 and it was a blast to play with all the settings turned up. The rig has pretty much been running 24/7 overclocked ever since week 2. Not bad I would say in this day and age of constant upgrading.

Off topic, but my PIII-500@575 hits 4078 pre-patch. I think I'll lose around 50 marks after I eventually install the patch for 3dMark. You might already know that 3dMark2001SE is heavily dependent on the video card so I'm sure if you upgraded your video card, you'll have much better results.
