small hard drive

Does anyone know a source for cheap samall (2gig) hard drives? Used is ok

I have a 2 gig drive myself ( I need it for the backing up of images for creating websites - no, not xxx stuff !).

I pulled it out of an old 486.

So instead of trying to find small drives, find a cheap PC instead, you might have more luck.

I have two WD Caviar HDs. One is a 1.6 GB and the other is a 2.5 GB. Both are from old 486 and Pentium I PCs and both hard drives have been re-formatted. Please advise if you are interested in both for $20 (USD) TOTAL.

If you're in the Ft Worth area I would try calling some of the local shops to see if they had any they had pulled from old machines. Or a computer show. 1gb-2gb is not to hard to find. The 3-8gb drives are in high demand and are hard to come by. A used 2gb should go for around $15.
