Windows XP Professional
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
A7V333 KT333 chipset MB
512 DDR333
Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum (with front pannel)
GeForce 3 Ti 500
note: I've put the Soundcard in PCI slot 4, which (on my mobo) does not share with anything. (I've heard that some soundcards are sensative to such things)
In short... I cant get it to work.
The prosonic has 5 speakers + 1 bass, all 5 speakers plug into base. From that point there are two outputs Left and Right. at the other side of these outputs you put a joining cable thingy (it plugs both L&R's in to make it one plug) I then plug this into the SB Audigy Digital Port (at the back) (the plugs are the same size as standard speakers)
I can get it to work very very poorly if I turn the speakers all the way up (I can just barely hear things) There is horrible interference when I turn ON "digital output only", and without this function my 80$ investment it useful for only one speaker (the center one)
I've tried what Creative suggested and changed the sampling rate in "device controlls", I've tried them all, I get the best performance at 96 KHz (but it's still truly horrible)
Please help me :( It sucks having a useless sound system...
