I'm posting this picture I took of this drive because this is the FIRST drive of its type that I've been. It's an old (and small) TEAC hard drive, but what's weird is its power connection. Instead of using the larger connection that is common for hard drives, CD-Roms, etc...it uses the same type that you'd normally plug into a floppy drive.

This may not be new to everyone but it was certainly new to me. In almost 5 years of tech work, this is the first drive of it's type that I see...

Interesting!

I have an old Seagate 5 1/4" 'half-height' with a PC edge type connector (like floppies used to have) but it has the larger power connector.

Teac must have been trying to start something that no one else went along with.
