Getting rid of fonts

Appologies if this is not the correct forum to post my question, but here goes...My font folder (Win98SE) shows I have 450 fonts, I believe many of them are from graphics progams which I no longer have. I would like to delete some of these, but I'm not too sure which fonts are safe to delete. Is there any way to determine only those fonts that came with Win98?
