Windows Install Date?

Does anyone know how to find out the exact date windows was installed on a system?

The reason I ask is this. I Got WinME ages ago. Installed it, then promtly uninstalled it due to software problems.

I reinstalled it when I had the latest software, fixing any conflicts or problems I had before. About 2 weeks after, WinME died a nice death, and was totally unrecoverable!

I reinstalled again, and that was the last time I reinstalled. It`s been well over 4 months now I think, and I`m just curious on finding out this info.

I used to reinstall Win98 on my system about every 2 months or so. I find WinME much more stable, and have had far less problems with it. I do a lot of installing and uninstalling, which, no doubt, adds to the problems on a Windows system over time.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion and then under First install date. but you will have to run it thru a hex type editor to understand it.
