I used ME for a short while and found no real advantage. Not sure if the extra speed was b/c of the reformat and reinstall or if it was ME. I have heard several problemed stories about ME and recommend 98SE now over ME. There is nothing you cannot get for 98 that ME has added.

how do you make the desktop wallpaper on Win95 permament? Also, is it true that you cannnot run DOS in WinMe? Is it better to upgrade to Win98 instead? thanks
