Imade a primary drive and extened drive to combat this.
did i do the right thing??.
also when i had my win3.1 in and tried to install win95 a window popped up and told me i needed the upgrade version of 95 since i have 3.1 already in..

Copy the CABS to the hard drive and run setup from there. Boot the system with a DOS disk then goto the Dir that you saved the cabs to and run setup.

Why don't you want to replace Win 3.1?

There is a way, you can boot with a dos disk and rename the Win.com to xxx.com then install 95.

Pick a thread.

FORMAT C: /C/U (don't use the /S switch)

Never mind.

What does FORMAT C: /C/U give you?

And why not /S for system files.
