I keep getting the following message:

The Application Log is full. If this is the first time you have seen this message, take the following steps:
Start, Settings, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer; select Application Log from the action menu; choose Clear All Events; choose NOT TO SAVE.
If dialog persists, contact your help desk/system administrator.

After about 2 months without any errors, this error now shows up about every 2-3 days.
Help!

It should just be a matter of clearing or expanding the log but how? I am not a W2K Server guy.

Thanks in advance.

Right-click the Application log and select Properties. Whoa! Check out all of the options! You can increase it's size and choose to overwrite it on the fly. See attachment. (it's WinXP, but it's very much the same)

Thank you for your response. However, I now really feel stupid. I can't open the attachment. Hard to believe I'm not a rookie.
