lan party computer, give me thoughts

ok here is a project i have been wanting to build. all that is needed is power for tower, and network connection. lcd is powered off of pc power supply. kb and mouse is wireless. fans in top are temp controlled.

The one tip I'll offer is make sure you get a nice wide case. You may also have to mount your power supply and drives vertically due to shape of the monitor - all assumptions however as I can't tell how thick that LCD is. Perhaps this person has a pass-thru connector on their power supply (i.e. power in and power out) so they use the standard power cable to plug it in.

I agree with mounting power inverted.That should work if pressed for space.Nice addition would be some kind of cover for the LCD.
As for the NIC; some are really thin anyway.

i think you misunderstood me. this is my pc. i built it. the lcd is mounted on the outside of the case and i powered the lcd off the 12v from the power supply. when i want to use it all i need to hook up is the 1 power cord to the power supply the lan. all others are self contained.

an idea of how thick lcd is. lcd itself is 1/2 inch. there is a back plate that is about 1.5 inches, so lcd sticks out off case

XLent dude. Really nicely thought out. i agree with the cover idea for the LCD, you don't want beer splashes all over it. And take plenty of Duracell with you.
