Being new to this forum, I am in the process of figuring things out. What really is the difference between the General Tech. forum and the Tech. support forum? I can't figure it out.

For instance, I like to go to the General Tech forum when I have a problem understanding terminology ect. Tech Support is more or less used when we have a problem, know something about the problem, (what-when it happens, ect) we may know the area that is causing the problem, sound...video ect and have a general clue what and how to express the problem so that someone will recognize what you are doing and perhaps have a clue to help you along. nowornever 04-11-2002, 03:32 PM That's helpful information.
