I would like to know where i can download a program where i can partition my hard drive and would like some tips on the best way to do this....i hear it would be better for my swp file to be partitioned seperately,as too my games etc.......any help out there?

Just go to ms dos prompt and type fdisk , that's all
and then choose option 1 and follow the instructions

I boot up using Win98 disk then at prompt type fdisk. Its a matter of preference as to the size of partitions, try here http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum9/HTML/002740.html

Agreed, there is no set optimum. Whatever fits your needs. I recommend a partition for your system files and non-volitile apps and data and volitile apps (internet browser) on the d drive. I set my swap file (virtual mem) to a fixed amt and leave it on C.
