I am trying to add Hotmail as one of my Outlook Express accounts. I pulled up the Outlook Express web page and found instructions to do this. I followed the instructions to a tee and I see the Hotmail account and even have a hotmail folder in the left margin of Outlook Express but when I try to log on I get the following error message, " Unable to poll for new messages on your http server. Account: 'Hotmail',Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMAIL, Server Response,: 'Authorization Required', port 0 secure (SSL): No, error number:0x800CCC32
Also when I try to sychronize, I get a log on window but it keeps coming back after each time I try to log on.
It seems like my hotmail account is not accepting my passwork - although it works perfect if I go right to Hotmail on IE.
Maybe there is some setting in IE that I need to change but I'bve looked for security setting and didn't find anything that worked.
Any ideas?

Do you have an 'acceptable' password? I don't, and I haven't had a problem yet, but perhaps certain ones trigger problems.

Hotmail has a new password policy. Passwords must be at least six (6) characters long and may have only numbers (0-9) and upper and lowercase letters (A-Z, a-z). If you are an existing Hotmail user, it is recommended that you change your password at www.hotmail.com. There may be potential issues logging in if your password is not updated.

What version of OE are you using? Sometimes, there is difficulty in logging onto Hotmail. I haven't had that problem recently, though.
