Dear sir/madam,

I am hoping you can tell me if it is at all possible to play streaming media
such as Real Audio files entirely off-line? Is there any way to save such
files to hd so they can be played/viewed at ones leisure?

Any help or ideas on how I might go about doing the above is appreciated.

Thanks

Jas

I haven't tried but as far as I know when you connect to a file it opens a .RAM file, which is a pointer (contains configuration info.) that links to the actual video file .RM.

It then probably depends on whether the .RM file is accessed through a different port????

There are some programs online that you can download and they will save the streaming audio into a file you can listen to offline. See this post for more info about that.
