Why would you want to trade for the same cpu with a lower fsb?

I just sold a P3 600mhz 100fsb in a sys to a freind. I'll ask him he may be interested. Of course the trade would have to be through me as he is not a member of this forum. I'll see what he says if you are interested.

I dont know why he is , but I do know some of the first mobo's by via wouldnt hit 133fsb though it supported Intel P3. Secondly it is a well known fact that 100fsb cpu's in the P3 flavour are better. Why? huh is what you are thinking, well just hold up a minute. If say the P3 600 (great o'clocker by mosts description) is bumped to 133mhz fsb it is o'clocked to 798 while remaining at the right agp and pci multiplyer and without o'clocking 133 ram. To boot if you have mobo that goes to 150mhz you can get every ounce of power out of that cpu. So in effect it is still 133mhz fsb thus only gaining speed not lesssing. And this all goes down the tubes with a P3 @ 133fsb. Thats WHY! Good reason eh. And they(local shop) said I was a fool for getting a 100fsb P3 ha who is the fool now? I did my research! Peace all!:)
