ok i ran Sandra to find out what mobo i have in my Sony Vaio and it said ASUS p4b266-lm i am not seeing anything for this mobo on the ASUS site can some help me out pls.

Motherboards made for a company like, Dell, Compaq, Gateway an others are often altered for those companies. The M version of yours is probaby very close:
