www.Newegg.com has decent shipping prices. I have a friend I helping build c omputer for and we ordered all the parts from Newegg with standard FedEx Saver shipping. We ordered the whole computer, case, video card, hard drive, everything, and the shipping was only about $52. That's not bad for an entire computer system minus a monitor. We ordered it on Wednesday last week and based on the tracking, it shipped out on Friday and should be at my house on tuesday or Wednesday next week.

Thats not bad.

Really have to watch the monitor shipping $$$$$$$$$$$;)

We cant afford to pay shipping on these, seems we must purchace them local.

Hope your new system turns out GREAT!

It's actually for a friend. Here are the specs:

Antec 1240 Full tower case w/400W PSU
Gigabyte GA-7VTXH+ LAN ATA133 Motherboard
AMD XP 1700+ CPU
256 MB PC2100 DDR
60GB ATA 133 Maxtor HDD 7200 rpm
Gainward GeForce3 ti200
Intellimouse Optical

And a few other things like molex splitters, case fans, network cable, Artic Silver, etc...

Came to a grand total of $763. Not a bad deal. Most of the parts are OEM, except the CPU.

Only problem with some of the sites listed at Pricewatch are that some have outrageous shipping prices. And then some others aren't too good.
www.resellerratings.com

newegg, mwave, tcwo are some great places to order from.

Thats what some people forget about is the shipping, it effects the overall cost of the unit! I order from one place generally. Thats another good rule, find a site known for good products good handling of returns, been in buisness awhile and accepts credit and COD if possible. If they continue with low prices stick with them as you know that its not a scam! My last order was a Duron 1gig, K7T turbo2 LE mobo,256mb sdr ram,HSF unit for Duron (cooler master),copper shim, 4 sticks of 64mb rdram the shipping was $15 from Tx to Pa. Thats pretty good and I had it in 7 days. I got my P4-mobo and etc. air mail next day $35 so shipping can be good or bad. I try to find someone who has a base shipping rate up to so many pieces thats the best way to order a bare bones sys.:)

TWCO.com charges 6.50 for UPS ground for as many pieces as you buy up to 150 pounds. I bought an XP2100 processor for $242 there and a week later it was $227. (great price) No one place has the best deals on everything but TWCO is pretty good.
