I have a USB DSL modem. I want to use a router to share the internet connection. I have been told that I will not be able to do it because I need to connect the modem directly to the router and from the router connect my computers. Since my router has RJ45 connectins and my modem is USB is not possible. Is there a way around this? Any suggestions are very welcome.

Not without using ICS and having one PC on at all times. I would petition my ISP for an Ethernet modem.

Yes I have Bellsouth Fastaccess. Why? ALCASMELL SPEEDTOUCH of DEATH! This thing tries to draw 720mA from a bus that can only provide 500mA.

Send that puppy right back to Hades where it belongs. Insist on Ethernet. Trust me.
