I hear about cool little gadgets all the time. Usually its something special to help cool down the PC, thing is... Where the heck can I find this stuff... in real life I mean. (I hate buying **** over the internet)

Just give me some ideas of the places that you go to get some of these things. CompUSA around my area has a few select things but I've never seen some "special" fans anywhere.

I cant find a black to black audio cable (SoundCard to CD-Rom)
Sunon 80mm fan
foam filtering (for fans) - (I'm not a do it yourself guy when it comes to my "little baby")
Card fans (I need suggestions on replacing my GF3 Ti 500 fan)
slot cooler
Baycoolers

So if ya could help me out, that would be great.

Thank you for your time.

If you are the first responder to a post, is it really necessary to quote the whole thing all over again?

You can use fabric softener sheets for filter material, or check Radio Shack.
BestBuy has slot and drive-bay fans.

For a reliable online source for hard-to-find gadgets, try www.cyberguys.com

Well, since this thread is about gadgets. I had a co-worker show me his 8MB usb keychain. I've seen previews of these devices in magazines such as Maximum PC, but I dismissed them since they look gimmicky. Well, I'm wrong. The usb keychain is very convenient for transporting and storing documents, patches and small drivers. Very nice indeed since you only have to plug it into an open usb port and of course, the OS needs to be plug and play compatible. usb zip drives are sometimes a pain because you have to deal with a cables. I didn't think they were durable so he dropped the keychain on the floor a few times then we tested it out. File integrity was still there as well as no issues upon transferring files.
So when I went to a local CompUSA, they said "Sorry. We don't stock those anymore." Ditto for Best Buy. Gonna keep looking for one locally, but I may end up having to buy one online.
