I have installed Rain after reading all of the articles I could find about the different CPU coolers available. When installing, however, Rain 'detects' your processor or lets you choose a processor from a list. 'Pentium III' is not among the choices. Rain chose 'Pentium Pro' automatically. I am not all that computer savvy yet so I was wondering if that is the same thing or equivalent. If anyone has an answer, I would appreciate it.

I'm running Rain 2.0 on a PIII. It's splash screen says "Optimized for Pentium II". I think I recall seeing somewhere that this is the correct setting. It certainly works!

Thanks Roy, but now you've raised another question. The Rain I have is version 1.0 and it is described as the latest version everywhere I found it. Where did you get 2.0 and do you know if there is a difference? I appreciate the help.

I moved from 1.0 to 2.0 as soon as someone here mentioned it. It's been quite a while, and I don't recall any details. I do know that it works very well, probably better than 1.0.

It's available here (http://www.eaglecomputing.com/downloads.htm) .
