Joystick

I've got a friend who's a big fan of flight simulators. Which joystick should he choose. Not too expensive though.

My somewhat short experience with flight sims suggest that a short joystick is best. You might be best off with a game pad type joystick. Unfortunately, most of these have the stick on the left side of the pad. I actually cut an old Kraft stick in half to make a flyable stick for myself. I am scouting around for an old Pong type joystick and would recommend one too.

Programmability is also nice, being able to manage the control panel without taking your hands off the controls is a definite advantage. Seitek seems to have the edge here www.seitek.com (http://www.seitek.com) .
